  2. Search for the ECG App using the search bar.
  3. Tap the "Get" button next to the app's name to download and install it.
  4. Wait for the installation to complete, then open the app by tapping the app icon on your home screen.

Step 2: Provide Permissions to Access HealthKit Data

  1. Open the ECG App on your iPhone.
  2. The app will prompt you to grant permissions to access HealthKit data.
  3. Tap "Authorize" to open the HealthKit authorization screen.
  4. Ensure that the required health data types (such as ECG, heart rate, and step count) are enabled.
  5. Tap "Allow" to grant the necessary permissions.

Step 3: Record an Apple Watch ECG

  1. Wear your Apple Watch and ensure it is properly fitted on your wrist.
  2. Open the ECG app on your Apple Watch.
  3. Rest your arm on a table or in your lap and use your other hand to hold the Digital Crown.
  4. Remain still for 30 seconds as the Apple Watch records your ECG.
  5. Once the recording is complete, review the ECG on your Apple Watch and ensure it is saved to your HealthKit data.

Step 4: AI Analysis and User Interaction

  1. After the ECG is recorded, the app will automatically begin analyzing the data in the background using AI.
  2. The AI provides an initial suggestion for ECG delineation, such as identifying waves and intervals.
  3. Users have the ability to fully review and modify the AI-generated suggestions by adding, deleting, resizing, or moving waves.
  4. This user interaction ensures that the final interpretation is accurate and tailored to the user's understanding and needs.
  5. Please note that the AI analysis is intended for educational and informational purposes only and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment.

Optional Step: Define Custom Thresholds

  1. Open the settings within the ECG AI App.
  2. Navigate to the "Custom Thresholds" section.
  3. Set your desired values for P, QRS, T, and QTc durations.
  4. Navigate back to the ECG list. ECGs that exceed these thresholds will be highlighted in the list with an alarm symbol (⚠️).

Step 5: View Visual Delineation in App and Share Visualization as PDF

  1. Open the ECG App on your iPhone.
  2. Click on one of the entries in the list to view the visual delineation of your ECG reading.
  3. The visual representation will highlight key details and provide insights based on the AI analysis.
  4. To share the visualization, look for the "Export" or "Share" button within the app.
  5. Tap the button and choose the "Export as PDF" option.
  6. You can then share the PDF via email, messaging apps, or save it to your files for future reference.

Step 6: Editing the AI-Suggested Delineation

  1. To begin editing, open the ECG you wish to modify. Below is a screenshot of the app in normal mode.
  2. In the top-right corner of the screen, tap the "Enable Edit Mode" button.
  3. Once you've enabled Edit Mode, the screen will change to allow editing. A new row will appear where you can select the type of wave to add: P, QRS, or T.
  4. To add a wave: First select the desired wave type by pressing the corresponding button (P, QRS, or T). Then, click on the ECG view at the location where you want to add the wave.
  5. To delete a wave: Long-press on the wave you wish to remove. A context menu will appear; select "Delete" to remove the wave.
  6. To resize a wave: Click and hold one of the edges of the wave, then drag to adjust its size.
  7. To move a wave: Click, hold, and drag the wave to the desired position within the ECG view.
  8. After making your edits, you can disable Edit Mode by tapping the "Disable Edit Mode" button in the top-right corner.

Note: Your customizations will be saved, and the app will recalculate intervals such as PR and QTc based on your edits.
